The Loft Collaborative (TLC) is an intentionally created movement studio in Somerton Park offering a conscious, holistic approach to movement, wellbeing, and community.
Founded as a small female-led business, TLC was created to feel different from traditional fitness spaces, less performative and more personal. Our Loft studio is intentionally mirror-free, welcoming, and community-focused, designed to support people in building a deeper connection to their bodies and themselves.
We offer a diverse range of movement practices including Yoga, Pilates, Strength & Conditioning and Recovery. As well as classes for your mind, Breathwork, Meditation, Sound healing and more. Our classes are designed to support not only physical health, but mental and emotional wellbeing too. Whether someone is looking to build strength, regulate their nervous system, reconnect with movement, or simply find a sense of belonging, we want TLC to feel like a space they can arrive exactly as they are.
At the heart of TLC is the belief that movement should be sustainable, accessible, empowering, and deeply human. We value genuine connection, thoughtful teaching, and creating an environment where people feel seen and supported.
But TLC is more than a studio for clients, it’s also a collaborative space for teachers.
Our model is built around supporting instructors in developing their own voice, offerings, and independence within a supportive environment. Rather than operating as a traditional top-down fitness business, TLC functions as a collective of teachers and facilitators who each bring their own experience, style, and perspective to the space. We are passionate about creating opportunities for both emerging and experienced teachers to grow sustainably, share meaningful work, and feel supported in stepping into leadership within the wellness industry.
Community care is woven into everything we do, from fundraising classes and workshops, to concession memberships, family discounts, memberships for access and equity, and free memberships for First Nations people. We believe wellbeing should feel inclusive and accessible, not exclusive.
