Late Cancellation Policy

A late cancellation is any cancellation occurring within eight (8) hours of scheduled class commencement. 

Participants unable to attend are expected to cancel with adequate notice to allow another participant access to the booking. 

For Unlimited Memberships: 

Late cancellations and no-shows may incur a $10 late cancellation fee. 

For Limited Memberships, Class Packs or Casual Passes: 

Late cancellations and no-shows may result in forfeiture of the applicable class credit or pass.

TLC reserves the right to waive fees or forfeitures at its discretion. 

Hot Weather Policy

Due to the physical nature of the studio environment and seasonal weather conditions, TLC may modify operations during periods of extreme heat. 

Where the weather forecast for Somerton Park is 35°C or above at the scheduled class time, participants may cancel attendance without standard late cancellation penalties or forfeiture provided TLC is notified. 

Where the weather forecast for Somerton Park is 38°C or above, TLC reserves the right to cancel classes.

Independent teachers and facilitators may also independently cancel classes, workshops or offerings where considered necessary for health, safety, wellbeing, weather conditions, illness or operational reasons. 

Notifications of cancellations, timetable changes or operational updates may be communicated via Momence, SMS, email, social media or other communication channels used by TLC. 

Membership Billing and Payment Responsibility

Membership payments are processed via recurring direct debit or nominated payment method. 

Participants are responsible for ensuring payment information remains accurate, valid and up to date and that sufficient funds are available to process payments. 

Failure to maintain valid payment details may result in suspension of bookings, membership access or attendance until payment issues are resolved. 

TLC reserves the right to recover unpaid membership fees or outstanding charges.

Flexi Memberships

Flexi memberships operate on an ongoing recurring basis and may be cancelled at any time. 

Membership cancellation requests must be submitted through the method advised by TLC from time to time. 

Flexi memberships may be frozen for any reason, subject to the freeze limits applicable to the membership held. 

Participants requesting a freeze must nominate both a start date and return date. Memberships will automatically recommence on the nominated return date. Freeze requests are not retrospective. 

Fixed Term Memberships

Fixed term memberships operate for a minimum commitment period as specified at sign up. 

Payments continue throughout the fixed term commitment period regardless of attendance frequency or usage. 

Fixed term memberships may be frozen for any reason, subject to the freeze limits applicable to the membership held. 

Participants requesting a freeze must nominate both a start date and return date. Memberships automatically recommence on the nominated return date. 

Freeze requests are not retrospective.

Early termination of fixed term memberships is generally not permitted, however may be considered at TLC’s reasonable discretion in circumstances including injury, hardship or relocation and supporting information may be requested where relevant. 

At the conclusion of the fixed term period, memberships automatically renew for a further fixed term unless cancellation is requested prior to the renewal date. 

By maintaining a fixed term membership, participants acknowledge and agree to automatic renewal unless cancelled prior to renewal. 

Class Packs

Class packs remain valid for the expiry period specified at the time of purchase. 

Unless otherwise stated, class packs expire within the applicable validity period from the purchase date. 

Unused classes expire automatically upon expiry. 

Class packs are non-refundable and non-transferable except where required under Australian Consumer Law. 

Workshops, Events and Specialty Offerings

Tickets for workshops, events, retreats, specialty offerings and guest facilitator sessions are non-refundable. 

Tickets may be transferred to another participant for the same event only and may not be transferred to alternative workshops, classes, credits or future events. 

Refund requests remain at the discretion of TLC and/or the relevant teacher, facilitator or practitioner. 

TLC reserves the right to substitute facilitators, amend programming, alter event structures or cancel events where reasonably necessary.
